Glory House, Colleyville is a parish and a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God

Also known as RCCG. A Pentecostal denomination with belief in the Trinity, God the father, son and Holy Spirit. 

 

The RCCG was founded in 1952 by Rev. Josiah Akindayomi. He chose Pastor Enoch Adeboye his interpreter as the next General overseer in 1981. Pastor Enoch Adeboye was a Former university professor of mathematics and thermodynamics at university of Lagos, Nigeria West Africa. Newsweek lists the Nigerian pastor Adeboye as one of the world’s 50 most powerful people. Adeboye and Pope Benedict XVI are the only Christian leaders on the list, 

 

With a total of over 5million members, churches in 198 nations of the world, 800 churches in United States, 200 in Canada, 50 in Mexico, several thousand of churches in Africa, 120 churches in Texas & over 60 churches in the Dallas/Forth Area. Her North America headquarters is in Greenville, TX with 800 Acres of real estate property with a 20,000 seater auditorium that host its Annual American convention.

Her Vision is to make heaven & to take as many people there as possible. Our global evangelism is made possible with continuous church planting and winning of souls for Christ in nations of the world.
In Nigeria where the headquarters of the church is, we have an auditorium that is about 2miles long and 2miles wide with seating capacity of over 1 million people, Pastor Enoch Adeboye minsters every first Friday of the month in the auditorium with multitudes in attendance experiencing the move of God. We see hundred of thousands coming to Christ and healing of all sort happening on the holy ground.

Now back to Glory House Colleyville

The church was established in April 2013 and commenced services on May 12th, 2013. The vision of the church is to “Prepare the nations for soon coming Christ”.The church started Sunday worship service at Colleyville elementary school  with less than 10 members. The church grew steadily for 9 months and moved to the old post office building on 5310 Pleasant Run Road here in Colleyville. After 3 years of  spiritual and physical growth in leased property, the church had to move again to another temporary location at Colleyville Center for 10months. In February 2018, the church had to move again to Liberty Elementary School in Colleyville. Having considered all tent movements in the past 5 years, the church has grown to about 200 members to include children. Also the Lord blessed the church with a landed property at 5300 Pleasant in 2016 and there we continue to build a modern, state of art of the church to be completed this summer by Gods grace. We pray for grand style  6th year church anniversary and new state of art building dedication this June 2019. 

Glory House is committed to spreading the gospel message of Jesus Christ in Colleyville and to the world. For the past 5 years we have committed in praying not just for our members, but men, women in uniform and the entire city of Colleyville & her citizens. Glory House has been committed to outreach program called “feeding the homeless” every thanksgiving day in down town forth worth for the past 5 years. We are also part of the initiative keep Colleyville clean. In 2018 we organized a 5k mile walk in city to raise funds to support Africa missions. We are fully committed to the ministerial alliance program to foster unity, love and progress in city of Colleyville 

Pastor Lanre Sobo, the senior pastor is a dynamic pastors with passion to see souls saved and delivered. His ministry is full of signs and wonders. His prophetic utterances has has brought many miracles to many followers. Pastor Lanre Sobo have gone on several missionary trips to Tanzania -eastern part of Africa seeing lives transformed for Christ. Pastor Lanre Sobo holds a  diploma in theology, Bachelor of science degree and an MBA from the prestigious university of Dallas.  He is married to Pastor Kemi and they blessed with 3 wonderful children David, Faith and Hannah.
